A busy weekend of racing for many club members,
A great start to the Summer League saw many members take place in the races at Welwyn and Hemel. The courses were set by Sally and John. We were very lucky at Welwyn with the forecast being heavy rain for most of the day, it was very windy but we had the rain maininly after we had finished the individual races. As is all outdoor Summer Leagues the event consisted of 3 runs down the same course, full gates for the U14+ and stubbies for the U12. Both courses were set with the same combination of gates. We then held the team events, the stampede event and the Top 32 Evolution dual. A later start was arranged for Welwyn meaning that people could travel in the morning and only have one night hotel if wanting to take place at Hemel on Sunday. Many Hemel members took place in both races.
