The ERSA Schools took place on Sunday 26 April at the Snowsports Club, Norfolk. Over 270 racers, representing their various schools throughout the region competed in a special slalom event consisting of 2 runs. Racers competed for individual trophies as well as School Awards based on female, male or mixed teams. All racers were issued with a bib that they kept as a souvenir of the day. During the day, ERSA attempted to break the World Record for the number of linked skiers, holding hands sking together withot the chain breaking for 100m. Unfortunately after 3 attempts the record was not broken. However ERSA will attempt this again during other seasons events.
