ERSA SKI CHAMPIONSHIPS 2017

Over forty Hemel Ski Race Club members took part in the ERSA Ski Championships over the weekend.  Congratulations to everyone that took part. The dry slope races took part on Saturday at Gosling Dry Ski Slope under sunny skies and the indoor races took place on Sunday at SnoZone in Milton Keynes. There was a fantastic atmosphere on both days and amazing camaraderie amongst all the skiers. A huge thanks must go to all the volunteers, without whom this event would not take place.

The Overall Club Championship competition is based on the combined results and Hemel finished in second place, just behind Norfolk.
There was just enough time to fit in an Extended Slalom race on Sunday too. The course was set across both slopes providing more of a challenge for the skiers. It was a great event which was enjoyed by everyone that took part!
