Results – Overall Positions National Events 2013


Final Results


The final results of the Club National Series, the Indoor and Outdoor GBR series have been posted.Congratulations to the club as they were placed 2nd overall in the CN series, well done to all whom represented the club in that series. There were no individual awards for this competition.


In the GBR indoor series Hemel had a number of individual members appearing in the individual winners list. Those placed in the top 5 of their age groups were awarded points that counted towards the overall individual results of he series. In the MAS age groups Alision Wang was placed 1st, Judy Reid came 3rd. In the under 21 age group, having competed only once, Caroline Powell came 5th. Anna Henderson also only competed once but was placed 4th in the U16. Marie Curtis, in the U18 group, was placed 11th overall. Shana Danenbergsons who took part in all but one race was placed 2nd in the U14 age group. Nicolle Sheering in the same age category came 6th.


In the male results Hemel performed exceptionally well in the U21 age group where Matthew Thompson, Robert Trebilcock and Kieran Norris were placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively. In the MAS group John Norris who competed in all 6 indoor races came 3rd, Matt Wang was placed 11th.  In the U21 group , sole Hemel member, Mac Telling was placed 6th. In the U18’s Thomas Grant was positioned 5th very closely followed by Richard Warmington at 6th. Alex White was 10th and Connor Schofield 15th. Dexter Lee in his real first year of racing performed well and eventually finished 2nd in the U14 age group.




The GBR Outdoor series was run as a separate competition. Hemel had a few entrants. Our only racer to feature in the series placing’s was Alison Wang, having won the indoor series followed up that result with a 3rd place in the outdoor. In the male competition Hemel had a number of entries but none were placed in the top 5 age group competitors.


Even though there was no “individual” competition for the U12’s, Hemel racer, Toby Case finished the series being unbeaten in all events.


Well done to ALL those racers, including those not named,  that took part in all the named National Competitions.
