HEMEL SKI RACING CLUB
Hemel Ski Centre has now closed, therefore from Monday 17th March 2008 Hemel Ski Race Club will now be at Gosling Ski Centre at Welwyn. Hemel Ski Race Club is still a thriving club.
The same split will apply ie groups from 18:00 - 19:30 and then the more experienced ones from 18:30 - 20:00.
We will have full use of the slope for the two hour session. When you arrive at Gosling, please see a member of the committee to book in and pay, we will be paying Gosling as a club for the whole group.
As we do not train on a Bank Holiday there will be no training on 24th March, 5th May, 26th May and 25th August. We will also close for a short break in the summer.
As of 1st April 2009, HSRC plans to start training back in Hemel in our snow dome - The Snow Centre

Hemel Ski Race Club meets on a Monday evening from 6.30 pm until 8.00 pm. Our aims are to promote skillful and safe skiing, to train, develop and help established racers and to introduce novices to the sport of ski racing. The ages of the skiers range from 7 to 70. There are nearly 130 club members. All ages and group standards are catered for by our excellent group of coaches, trainers and instructors led by our Chief Coach Rod Ferguson. |

Hemel Ski Race Club members compete in all levels of ski racing from fun club events, regional summer league events (See ERSA) to representing their country in International races at home and abroad. We do have a minimum ability and age criteria. Picture shows the Hemel "A" and "B" teams at the All England Ski Championships 2006. The "A" team came third and the "B" team progressed to the knockout stage. Congratulations to both teams |

Hemel Ski Race Club greatly appreciates the help and assistance give by Snow and Rock in matters of equipment and clothing. Snow and Rock also sponsor the Hemel Ski Race Club Championships by providing bursaries in the form of equipment to the winners of Age Group Children 2 and below.
